Going Places Summer Camp

Back by Popular Demand - PVSD is excited to offer "Going Places," a Summer Camp from AlphaBest Education. The camp is inspired by characters in the book Going Places by Peter H. and Paul A. Reynolds, and campers will be immersed in real-world challenges and hands-on fun.
Who: Rising Kindergarten through 5th-grade students currently enrolled in PVSD
Where: Ormondale School
When: Week 1 - August 14 -18, 2023; Week 2 - August 21 - 24, 2023
Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

NEW for 2023-2024: "Right at School" Afterschool Program

Beginning on August 29, 2023, thanks to a partnership between PVSD and Right at School, a new and exciting after-school program will be available for PVSD students, grades K - eight.


  • The afterschool program will run on school days until 6:00 p.m.
  • Right At School will provide the staffing and a daily program.
  • Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-sign-up basis.

Resources for Talking to Children about Violence

Our partners at the San Mateo County Office of Education have compiled a list of resources to support you in talking to children about violence and school shootings. Also, our counselors are available on campus for students to talk to at any time during the school day.

Volunteers & Visitors

For the safety of our students and staff, ALL visitors and volunteers MUST CHECK IN at the front office of our schools, sign in, and get a visitor badge in order to be on campus. No exceptions.

Parents! Become a Substitute and Help Us Support Our Students

The District is reaching out to our students’ parents and families to apply to become substitute teachers at both school sites: Ormondale School (TK-3) and Corte Madera School (4-8). The ideal applicant must be a skilled organizer and collaborator with classroom teaching experience. The rate of pay for a full-day assignment (7:45 am - 3:15 pm) has been increased to $250/day for the first 10 days worked during the school year. Upon completion of Day 10, the rate of pay is $275/day, retroactive to the first day.
